This review is from: StarTech GC46MF Replacement PS/2 Mouse to USB Adapter - F/M
Pros: Looks ok, comes in a bag, dont have to rip apart plastic and little waste.
Cons: Windows 7 x64 does not recognise connection to a root 2.0 USB port (at least with a ps2 microsoft wheel mouse connected) I remember this last time it was difficult to find a mouse adapter which worked, finally had to go with one that seperated the two.
Other Thoughts: Might work in some cases, bought and tried multiple ones.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: CyberPower CPS180PHV Phone Saver
Pros: The previous model worked elegantly, nightlight was interesting. Gotta give 3 eggs.
Cons: Limited variety of adapters, they come with an additonal length of wire off the conection so one could solder an alternative.
DOA light would not light, there seemed to be 10vdc at the junction where the connector goes in but even thats a bit unregulated.
SUPER LAME: HAVING TO PAY RETURN SHIPPING!!
Other Thoughts: Seems like the charger is smart now. The one before didnt blink when the power failed (for what I recall.)READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: DATEXX LED-99 SuperBattery with AC or Crank Generator
Pros: The USB is always powered, no led to drain it. Light is a single white LED.
Cons: I guess it could be a tiny bit smaller.
Other Thoughts: 9V adapter. 2/3 AA NiMH, 4.8V, 600mAh. Charge time 12 hours. 500 cycle times. Capacity 600mA.
Dimensions 3"W x 1.5"D x 4" H.
Crank charger only operates when you turn it, and seems to put out around 30mA when youre turning it.
