Pros: When it functioned normally, it worked great.
Great speed in use with regular hard drive.
Pretty quick read and write rates for this type of ssd.
SLC (to me it is a pro..)
seemed well built, but...
Cons: Will not function properly right after the 30 day return window goes out...
Highly overrated when the price per Gb and other important factors are considered...
Raid 0 array doesn't have great redundancy, but is good for performance, thus that is why "caching" exists...
Not as good, and is more expensive than just putting the entire OS on an SSD and using it as the primary drive (I mean if you need extra space it is easy to add another drive and use it as a data drive...). Price per Gb is getting lower and lower on these just as it is with RAM. You could get 100 more Gigs for almost the same price for a Regular sata III SSD...
Other Thoughts: I installed it on a GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3 motherboard. The setup went smoothly as I used the ez smart response to set up the caching. The drive was working great until recently, I noticed that the srt wasn't enabling as it usually does (prior to this, I setup the acceleration on the intel software, of course). It was running perfect for 20 days or so, then something happened and I just kept getting blue screens. I tried updating the bios and setting it up a couple of different ways, but the drive just causes constant BSODs and sometimes the drive doesn't even exist...weird lol. Something new in my book of IT trials...I think I am just going to go ahead and buy a regular ssd instead of using raid...I don't like striping when I don't have too, plus I could get 100 more gigs for about the same price as this little 20Gb mSATA drive...After what happened to me and now that I've considered the other options, I've come to a better conclusion about smart response technology...READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Overclocks amazingly just like many other reviews say.
Super fast, very powerful.
Amazing gaming processor.
Cons: Price but in this case it is well worth the money.
Other Thoughts: Best processor I have ever owned.
Currently overclocked to 4.1 ghz. I was going to keep it on the 4.5 ghz overclock I had and it was stable. Idk I just want to make sure everything runs well before I go for the overclocking gold. I just kept it safe for now. It will probably keep the 4.5 ghz overclock on my system with great stability i know, but like I said I am just making sure everything runs good at the moment.
This review is from: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Xbox 360 Game
Pros: It has the modern warfare title
Survival mode is pretty fun
Got it in a combo deal, so price of game itself was around $30 (Funny thing is, that is all it is worth).
More customization in weapons and other areas (good idea, poor execution).
Single player was ok 3/5, but somewhat unrealistic in some areas (I know it's a video game hehe).
Cons: Gameplay is a bit off, a patch will probably fix it soon.
The maps! These maps make the game only unbalanced in that they are too close in proximity and very tight, but with openings in too many areas. Good maps are supposed to have choke points amongst other things.
Other Thoughts: I gave it three eggs because of price considered. I would give it two if I paid $60 for it. The best call of duty experience I have had was call of duty 4 by far.. I liked world at war, and black ops was ok, but this game is not is a product of money hungry sell out that don't know how to make good games anymore. Buy battlefield 3 over this or the new batman, because this game is way overrated..P.S. I already sold this game to one of my friends, and now he absolutely hates it lolREAD FULL REVIEW
