This review is from: Logitech 920-004985 G19s Keyboard
Pros: Got it 45% off best deal ever, to replace a super loud Razer Chroma.
Quiet Keys, Nice Illumination (Numbers and Symbols are lit) customization is nearly endless, so much so I have no idea what I am doing with it. USB pass-through is nice.
Cons: Deducted an Egg for 2 reasons:
The volume roll feels cheap, and its a little uneven when I scroll it up or down (this is me being picky, but at full price that would be something I might be displeased about)
More importantly on day 4 I spilled about 2 oz of water on my keyboard and it shorted and would alternately spam 2 characters as long as it was plugged into my machine. The fix was taking the keyboard apart down to the clear plastic board and final flexible circuit board. Had to carefully dry it off and wick up the remaining moisture. put it back together and everything worked fine again. (this was entirely my fault, but at the same time, usually there are water holes on the bottom to let it filter out.)
Other Thoughts: I think its a rockin' keyboard, and despite the setback early on, I am excited to get as much use out of it as I did with my old Razer Tarantula. Wish it had headphone and mic jacks. Buy this when they put it on sale!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Works like a charm, bought it to replace my failing Kingston 1st gen 64gb boot drive. This thing is lightning fast, and after a little configuration managed to get all my ducks in a row. Runs my games smoothly and loads them quickly. From completely off to on Windows 8.1 Pro 7-9 seconds.
Cons: none really, had major problems installing the OS on it, but as it turns out it was my x58 motherboard causing USB installs to fail, remedied the situation by burning a copy of 8 onto a DVD and installed it the old fashioned way.
Other Thoughts: So far really happy with Samsung's performance. This is step one in my PC rebuild!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I bought two sticks of these about 8 months ago at about $100 for the machine I was building and they worked beautifully. I was so happy with them that I purchased another two sticks last week for about $65. I just looked this afternoon and kicked myself becuase the price is now $49.99 and free shipping. If your machine takes this, you would be an idiot not to get it for the price and the quality.
Cons: Price keeps dropping, if only I had waited I could have had my 8 gigs for $100 rather than $165.
Other Thoughts: My machine is a Bloomfield i7, OC'd to 4.00GHZ flat. 8 gigs of the ripjaw 1600, a 1gig Radeon 4850 hd, 64gig sshd boot drive, and multiple storage drives. It purrs like a kitten and runs at about 37 c* with a Coolmaster v8 on it.
Thank You Newegg for supplying all the parts that I used.
