Pros: Excellent product. Once it's up and running, the picture quality and channel response time is great. I would (and have) recommend this product to a friend.
Instructions are very good. The bundled list of cable company CableCard support lines was a huge time saver. Ceton obviously knows that your cable company will be the weakest link.
Cons: Comcast is a pain. Initial setup wasn't as painful as I expected, thanks to Ceton's bundled listing of support numbers. However, Comcast managed to register my card improperly, which generated service and billing headaches.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I have two of these power supplies. I've always used high quality PSU's, but this is hands-down the best one I have ever owned. It offers plenty of power and ample outlets, while remaining cool and silent (I don't even use the hybrid fan mode).
Cons: When I first used this power supply, I was very upset. It performed well, but emitted a high frequency buzz. I was ready to rip it out of my PC, and return it. That is until I figured out the problem...(see other thoughts).
Other Thoughts: If you have a problem with buzz or whine, use the power cable that the PSU comes with. It eliminated the problem for me. The new cable is about 50% thicker than the old one I was using. I don't know if the new cable is shielded, or if it's just higher quality, but it defiantly made a difference.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: HighPoint Rocket 620 PCI-Express 2.0 x1 SATA III (6.0Gb/s) Controller Card
Pros: I received this card with a 3TB WD hard drive. It is currently being used to interface a DVD drive in my computer, as I've run out of motherboard sata ports. The DVD drive works just like it was connected to the motherboard's south-bridge ports. It's very compact, and comes with a low-profile adapter.
Cons: My only complaint is that my system will hang if I select the connected DVD drive from the BIOS' F12 boot menu. If I set the boot order in the BIOS manually, booting from the DVD drive works as expected.
Other Thoughts: The board has it's own AHCI BIOS, while necessary, slows down boot time.READ FULL REVIEW
