ASUS EN210 SILENT/DI/1GD3/V2(LP) GeForce 210 1GB 64-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Silent (no fan). Worked fine for 18 months.

Cons: Started having problems at 18 months. Using in dual screen setup, one VGA, one DVI. The VGA monitor started having problems showing hover-popup-screen tips. Replaced it with older card, monitor is fine. The DVI monitor started having problems, would go blank for ~5-10s a couple of times within first half hour of a session. After 1-2 months got annoyed enough to replace.

Other Thoughts: In my experience graphics cards last longer than this.

5 out of 5 eggs Great kit for removable SATA HDD 08/06/2010

This review is from: SNT SNT-125B Black 3.5" SATA Hard drive to 5.25" Bay SATA Mobile Rack Removable Hard drive kit

Pros: After my external HD backup died (drive is fine, just the Fantom controller board is non-functional, thank you for asking), this made it a lot easier to transfer data between drives and replace an old drive with a not-so-old drive. I really like (1) the ejector handle (2) the locking capability to prevent accidental release (3) built-in 4-pin power adapter so you don't need a SATA power cable (4) the door that covers the opening when no drive is installed.

Cons: Haven't yet figured out how to do hot-swap, got a nasty Windows error the one time I tried. But this is not a big deal for me.

Takes a full-size slot, so may not be suitable for smaller cases.

Other Thoughts: I want more!

5 out of 5 eggs If I could get more excited about a SATA cable I would... 08/06/2010

This review is from: OKGEAR 18" SATA 6 Gbps Cable, Straight to Straight W/ Metal Latch, UV Blue, Backward Compatible 3 Gbps and 1.5 Gbps

Pros: Just what I needed to add a SATA drive in my system.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Amazed how many different SATA cables are out there... different length, color, straight-or-right-angle...
