This review is from: Patriot Memory 240GB Blast 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive Model PBT240GS25SSDR
Pros: We are a re-saler of these and other Patriot products. We did purchase these through Newegg, this exact model number less than a year ago. Every one of these have bricked under a year. I have honored warranty to my customers but have been stuck with these dead drives because Patriot's RMA process is a bloody nightmare and ends up being a black hole of nothingness.
Cons: We love to represent quality products as we are known for our quality products and service (thus our warranty coverage to our customers for these failed drives). Patriot Memory products have been a boast of ours for years. This particular product fails and so does their customer service / RMA process.
Other Thoughts: As far as I am concerned Patriot, you owe me for 4 of these drives and the labor to replace and load them. That amounts to about $1216.00 not to mention we had one of our bench machines running this drive for a quick data rescue and hold. We lost several customer's data and bore the responsibility. No, I will not attempt another "email" RMA request. Patriot, you figure out how to take care of us.. a resaler of your product!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TRENDnet TEG-S224 Unmanaged Copper Gigabit Switch
Pros: Plug and play - fire up 12 stations with 2 LAN ports each.
Cons: Purchased 2 of these at the same time about 3 years ago. they both started failing after 2 years of 24/6 usage. Had to power cycle every couple weeks, then more often and now can't keep them up for more than 5 mins.
Other Thoughts: Ironically, I am finding this the best value to replace the dead ones with... so, buying another.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Acer X1161P SVGA 800x600 2700 Lumens 3D Ready DLP Projector
Pros: Affordable. Really clear and decent picture (if you are not sitting within 4 feet of the screen). Easy to use, focus and enjoy.
Cons: fragile and appears to be super sensitive to heat and humidity. The first one died at 6 weeks old. Used it every day and it got left on over night more than once (fell asleep while watching my 10' picture!). Then... no light, but bulb was good. Our heat supplemented with filtered dryer air = added humidity and comfortable warm temps in the house and an appearant hazard to the projector.
Other Thoughts: Acer's customer service has suffered greatly since the Gateway/eMachines merge. It borders on un-friendly. I purchased a replacement unit and will take better care of it. Dead at 6 weeks and weeks to have fixed (and do without a picture)?? = Not acceptable.READ FULL REVIEW
