Pay attention to the Overview for Install Instructions

White PC Computer Wireless Gaming Receiver for Microsoft XBOX 360
White PC Computer Wireless Gaming Receiver for Microsoft XBOX 360

Pros: Works if you pay attention to the Install Instructions on the Overview. View below for full description.

Cons: Difficult to get working if you don't know what you're doing.

Overall Review: I was getting ready to RMA this product until I came back to it and noticed the Install guide. On a Windows 7 x64 bit machine this was the only way to get this working. The drivers of Windows do not naturally recognize the device and the software is worthless. This is a chinese knockoff of the Windows 360 wireless receiver. It would appear you must trick the software and force it to use the Windows 360 driver software.

Would be good but everyone else falls short

Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 64-bit for System Builders
Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 64-bit for System Builders

Pros: Runs great on a good computer. Very smooth and with the righ initative and will power it can be harnessed and controlled well.

Cons: NOBODY MAKES 64 BIT DRIVERS OR SOFTWARE. This is something I clearly did not look up enough. There is almost no software or hardware that works with this operating system. I've run newer games and they have worked fine, but any backwards compatibility other than later XP just doesn't work at all. Not to mention brand new top level editing programs simply do not work at all. All of my photo editing with Adobe, and all of my audio editing with my firewire mixer has come to a complete stop. It would seem nobody is in a rush to update their drivers or compatibility with this version of windows.

Overall Review: Sadly i'm going to either spend ANOTHER 200 dollars on the 32 bit version or i'm just going to pirate it.
