Works for what it costs

Linkworld 313-06-C2228 Black/ Silver Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Linkworld 313-06-C2228 Black/ Silver Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Has everything I could need in a simple case. Decent air flow. Crazy cheap.

Cons: Very flimsy. But, for how cheap it is, what can you expect?

Overall Review: I put a lot of awesome parts in this case, and it does the job great. For those looking for a simple mod, here's what I did: I took a 120 mm fan, got some sticky velcro, and velcroed the fan to the side opening. It adds another fan (aside from the 80mm fan slot on the back) and keeps things cool.

Customer service woes

Acer 23" 60 Hz TN LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI, HDMI UM.VS1AA.B01 S231HLBbid
Acer 23" 60 Hz TN LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI, HDMI UM.VS1AA.B01 S231HLBbid

Pros: The monitor came well packaged and was very good quality for the time it functioned correctly. The colors looked great and it looked great.

Cons: After less than 6 months of use the monitor broke completely randomly. Just in the middle of use it flicked off and came back on with severe screen issues on the right side. Customer service was unable to figure out how to fix it (they did the normal rounds with me). So, thankfully still under warranty, they said they'd fix it. My main hang up is that for an issue that is 100% their fault they are forcing me to pay for shipping it to their facility. Aside from the loss of a monitor for a lengthy amount of time, and forcing me to go way out of my way to a shipping facility (both inevitable I suppose), they are essentially making me pay for their own faulty equipment. C'est la vie.

Overall Review: The monitor wasn't bad, but it wasn't better or particularly cheaper than other brand.

Ethernet is broke

ASRock X570M PRO4 AM4 AMD X570 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
ASRock X570M PRO4 AM4 AMD X570 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Fast, efficient, and works natively with the newest AMD chips.

Cons: Randomly the Ethernet adapter will no longer be recognized as existing. You have to jump through serious hoops to get it to work again. This is a common problem (Google it) and has no clear resolution. I am likely going to change motherboards the moment a decent new micro atx board is out for this generation.

Overall Review: Avoid this one, guys.

Size is wrong under specs.

CORSAIR RMi Series RM750i 750W 80 PLUS GOLD Haswell Ready Full Modular ATX12V & EPS12V SLI and Crossfire Ready Power Supply with C-Link Monitoring and Control
CORSAIR RMi Series RM750i 750W 80 PLUS GOLD Haswell Ready Full Modular ATX12V & EPS12V SLI and Crossfire Ready Power Supply with C-Link Monitoring and Control

Pros: Plenty of connectors and it powers my r9 390 easily.

Cons: The advertised size of this power supply is 3.39" x 5.91" x 6.30", however it is actually closer to 7", this means that it would NOT fit into my Corsair Graphite 380t. Luckily I was able to bend some pieces and squeeze it in.

Overall Review: Haven't had the PSU long enough to see how it holds up, but so far it runs fine even if its much larger than advertised.

FANTASTIC

AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM2+ 125W Processor - HDZ940XCGIBOX
AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM2+ 125W Processor - HDZ940XCGIBOX

Pros: Incredibly good for the price point. Not only is out of the box great, but it also is very good for overclocking, even with the stock cooler.

Cons: I can't give it 6 eggs.

Overall Review: Love it.

Nice

ASUS M4A77D AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS M4A77D AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Has everything I need. I love that it not only has 6 SATA spots, but also an IDE connector. It supports my quad-core AMD, and that's all that truly matters.

Cons: No on-board video, which doesn't really bother me, but some people might care. Also, the onboard audio isn't great, but it works. I bought a cheap-o sound card.

Overall Review: Great motherboard, especially for the price. I would recommend this to anyone building a mid-high tier computer.
