This review is from: Rosewill RHKN-12001 15-Piece Stainless Steel Knife Cutlery Block Set
Pros: Very well made, especially at the low Newegg promo price. I would buy them again.
Cons: They don't do the cutting for you.
Other Thoughts: The knives in this set are every bit as good as the affordable versions of name-brand knives like Wusthof or Henckels. Both of those brands sell multiple knife "series". Only the most expensive series are made in Germany; all the rest are made in China these days. These are sharpened at the standard "American - European" angle of 15 degrees, not the "Asian" angle of 10 degrees. Buy your sharpener accordingly.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill R-CeR-KN-03 5-Piece Ceramic Knife and Cutting Board Set
Pros: This is my first experience with ceramic knives. This set is well made and very sharp.
Cons: 2 cons: The bolsters are so tall that you can’t use the entire length of the blades. The knife covers are a mixed lot when it comes to fit. Call it “Goldilocks syndrome”; one is too tight, one is too loose, and one is just right.
Other Thoughts: A good introduction to ceramic knives without breaking the bank. I would buy them again.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BYTECC USB3-1M-A/MICRO 39.37" Blue USB 3.0 Male to Micro B Male Cable
Pros: Looks good.
Cons: This USB 3.0 A to Mini-B cable that is intermittent at best.
Other Thoughts: Purchased this cable along with a WD Blue 640 drive, PCIE to USB 3.0 card, and a 2.5” external housing (INEO I-NA201U-Plus) which includes a USB 3.0 A to Mini-B cable. Both cables look to be identical, and made in the same factory. Both give intermittent connection at the "A" (computer) end. Tried both with 4 different computers, both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, with same results. Wiggle the "A" plug, and it works and quits. Am working with both ineo and bytecc Tech Support; will update this review based on the outcomes.READ FULL REVIEW
