Pros: I have probably been using the WD800JB-00ETA0 80 gigabyte hard drive for over 6 years. It is still working! I use it to backup data and run the Linux Ubuntu 10.04 operating system. I shut my computer off at night and so that may be a contributing factor to the longevity.
Cons: Makes a little more noise than newer generation hard drives. The sound really is quite minimal though.

Pros: I have been using this Seagate Model ST3250310AS hard drive since March of 2009. It has been absolutely reliable for me for almost two years.
Other Thoughts: After formatting the hard drive gives 232 gigabytes of hard drive storage space for data. I am hoping this hard drive will still give me great reliable service until the year 2014.READ FULL REVIEW
