Cons: quality, the disk load / eject mechanics failed on the second disk. Too cheap to bother returning. I don't know if there is a quality USB 3.5" drive, but if so, this isn't it.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: UPNP Wansview NCB543W Outdoor Waterproof IP66 Wireless WiFi IP Network Camera CMOS Sensor 300k Pixel with 36 IR LED IR-CUT 15-25Meters Night Vision Distance Motion Detection and Alarm Function
Pros: Nice looking, robust housing
Cons: Bought two cameras, could not connect to either using search tool. I would have conencted directly with webbrowser, but my router never saw a DHCP request from either camera.
Other Thoughts: It has been several days and have not seen a response from Wansview. Hoping the MyStore 365 responds soon for an RMA.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Form factor - well described as about the size of a pack of cigarettes but a little thinner.
The setup was easy.
The night vision is adequate for small to mid-sized bedrooms.
These have microphones to listen in.
The cloud website was easy to set up (if you have your firewall accept the device requests and you make sure the cameras have a default gateway defined.) Also - keep your camera specific activation codes!(separate slip of paper in box)
The related mobile app is free and requires little setup.
Cons: I am getting about 5 frames per second on my local wireless N network, so the video is a little choppy.
Using the free mobile app with the cloud service doesn't always connect and crashes (andriod version)
Mounting bracket could be more compact.
Petty, but wish the power cord was white to match the white camera body (cord is black). I ceiling mounted these and the cord is a little conspicuous.
Other Thoughts: I put 5 of these in the kids' bedrooms and ply rooms. The video and audio quality is not quite on par with actual baby monitors, but I monitor multiple rooms, monitor sitters remotely, and record.
I am also using iSpy and very pleased with it so far, though not getting the audio with this software. I might try other packages.
