Pros: Looks great in theory
Cons: Defective in practice. I’d read good things about ASUS boards but we’ve clearly gotten off on the wrong foot. DIMM slots B1 & B2 have never worked which means no dual channel memory for me. A stick of RAM in either or both of those slots causes a red LED memory light and no boot. That flimsy I/O shield was also a source of frustration for me as it’s been for others reviewers. When I purchased this board ASUS was offering a $40 rebate, I had received an email last month saying that my documentation for the rebate was in order. Yesterday I got an email from ASUS saying that none of my documentation has been submitted. When I track my rebate on their site you guessed it, there’s a copy of all of my documentation. ASUS, I haven’t had any of these frustrations with your competition.
Other Thoughts: Disappointed. Newegg has a wide assortment of motherboards to choose from that can offer you a better ownership experience.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TRENDnet TEW-654TR N300 Wireless Travel Router Kit IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g/n
Pros: Small, light and mine came with a 110-220 power brick so I'm good for international travel. A few trips through the menu and I was configured. Has MAC filtering. Travel case is a nice touch.
Cons: Connection speed is very slow unless network cable is repeatedly and snugly connected. After configuring the TEW-654TR the connection to my laptop seemed pokey. A Speedtest showed a 2mbps connection on my home ISP - Comcast. Changing the RJ45 cable and router port brought that up to 10mbps so I wrote it off as a bad cable but the next day I was back down to 2mbps again. Repeatedly removing and inserting the RJ45 cable 4 or 5 times brought the connection speed back up. My ISP is stable, my home router doesn't behave this way and I've tried multiple cables and ports so the problem seems to be with the TEW-654TR, maybe I just got a flakey one. Minus 2 eggs for this.
Other Thoughts: Check your connection speed. I know now that when I travel with this I'll have to run some kind of speedtest each day to make sure it's connected properly. It should work properly out of the box.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: For Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch SPH D710 Mobile Cell Phone Battery
Pros: It fits in the battery compartment of my E4GT. A knockoff battery at an inexpensive price.
Cons: In daily use this battery discharges very quickly and takes a looong time to charge back up to 100%. Less capacity than the battery that came with the phone when new.
Other Thoughts: I suppose that I got what I paid for. Save yourself the trouble, reach into your wallet and buy the real deal.READ FULL REVIEW
