This review is from: Delta AFB1212GHE-CF00 120mm Case cooler
Pros: Moves a ton of air. Loads of it. It'll cool down just about anything and makes a great exhaust fan under certain conditions.
Cons: When they say "loud" they don't mean, like, louder than a normal fan. It's literally hairdryer-loud. I could possibly use my leafblower in there and it'd be slightly less loud.
Other Thoughts: This fan isn't meant for home use at all. This is the sort of fan you need to install if it's going to live in a datacenter or a walled off room where you'll never hear it. There's no way you could sleep through this.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Creative GigaWorks T40 II 32W RMS 2.0 Speakers
Pros: Sound quality is pretty good for the price. Nice range, high and low. Build quality is good as well, really feels solid. The two front ports (headphones and line in) are very helpfully placed. They're also quite attractive, I find. The front bezels have a sparkly blue look that ads a touch of class to it without looking silly and blingy.
Cons: The auto-shutoff is, at best, exceptionally aggravating. It goes into a sort of sleep mode when audio hasn't played for five minutes or so. I wouldn't mind, except for that it can't be shut off or bypassed, and once it tries to exit sleep it takes a good five to ten seconds. On top of that, if the audio is too quiet, it won't exit sleep mode, so if you know there's sound but the speakers aren't firing up, you need to crank the volume on the PC.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: For the time it worked normally it was quite a clear, crisp display.
Cons: Three main cons:
One, the power brick is awkward and annoying.
Two, the base seems like poor quality.
Three, after four months the left side of the screen developed the reddish/pinkish lines that several people here are reporting. It also seemed to have developed screen burn in spite of having a screensaver set the whole time, and frequently being powered off altogether.
Other Thoughts: This sounds like a case of quality control roulette. I'll have to check with the manufacturer but it sounds like other folks have had limited luck there.READ FULL REVIEW
