Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Large drive, 64Mb cache, similar speed to WD black at lower price

Cons: It is audible. I can hear it spin up and down when the room is quiet. This is just a tiny thing though, and most won't notice it.

Other Thoughts: It's a great buy. I've had other WD blue drives and they are reliable, fast, and all-around good drives.

Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W BX80637I53570K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Fast, unlocked, low power consumption, perfect for gaming

Cons: Expensive (The price on processors doesn't fluctuate as much as other things) relative to other processors

Other Thoughts: Installation was a breeze, and my performance easily doubled over my previous "Propus" quad core, even though the clock speed was very close. Intel really has the upper hand in all microprocessors, that is extremely evident here.

Rosewill RDCR-12001 Multi-in-one USB 2.0 & SATA Internal Card Reader w/ 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Being a multi-card reader, it reads multiple types of cards. The 2.5" HDD slot is extremely useful!

Cons: The MicroSD slot must be used with caution. If inserted wrong the card will get stuck in the reader, and is difficult to remove. Furthermore, this can feed power back to the motherboard when installed in specific USB headers. I find that trying a different header usually works.
