Logitech K400 (920-003070) Black USB RF Wireless Standard Keyboard
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

3 out of 5 eggs decent wireless keyboard 10/17/2013

This review is from: Logitech K400 (920-003070) Black USB RF Wireless Standard Keyboard

Pros: Price was cheap, installed easy, integrated touchpad is handy

Cons: Feels cheap

Other Thoughts: There's not a good selection of wireless keyboards that come with a mouse alternative, so this stands out if you need one that just works, no fancy features.

ASUS A53 Series A53SV-XN1 Notebook Intel Core i5 2410M (2.30GHz) 6GB Memory 750GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M 15.6
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: in addition to the usual pros mentioned in other reviews:
- the onboard speakers are MUCH better than most laptops
- WASD key placement actually feels slightly closer and more intuitive than others
- screen is NOT BAD
- most games can be run on high settings at around 45 to 50 fps average

Cons: - screen is NOT GREAT
- drivers can be a hassle, make sure you update only from the A53SV page on ASUS' support site

Other Thoughts: for a 6 cell battery powering the i5 and 540M, 3 hours average battery life is pretty good

SPARKLE FSP200-50SNV 200W SFX12V Power Supply
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

1 out of 5 eggs faulty PS, doesnt fit 08/09/2011

This review is from: SPARKLE FSP200-50SNV 200W SFX12V Power Supply

Pros: -

Cons: First off, the size of the PS is too small, the screws wouldn't fit. I would assume power supplies would have a standard form to follow, but not this one. ALso, the 20 pin and 4 pin cables had the WRONG shape pattern, it was impossible to plug it into the motherboard. The form factor is also incorrect, as my fairly modern PC case couldn't accommodate it. Their customer service kept insisting that I was wrong or my motherboard was faulty. Virtually no manufacturer's warranty for any type of replacement or exchange, arguing with them just to get a replacement for my faulty supply was already too much of a hassle.

Other Thoughts: I already heard bad things about Sparkle, but I decided to try this out since it was cheap. My doubts were confirmed.
