Good Investment
Pros: Good high-speed drive. OCZ forums (and reviews here) helped me make sure I had the correct sector allocations, so the drive outran my 300GB Raptor drives, and provided a significant boost on my DB servers. Comparisons: 500GB 7200 RPM drive - 64.3MB/s; 300GB 10,000RPM Raptor - 99.3MB/s; OCZ 60GB Apex (with sector realignment) - 131.0MB/s. OCZ forums have detailed information for proper configuration and optimized performance.
Cons: Needs sector realignment (and other considerations) for best performance, and this information and necessary utilities are not provided.
Overall Review: Form factor (2.5") will require additional hardware to mount in most systems.
Very Disappointing
Pros: dual NIC / onboard video / onboard power & reset switches
Cons: Purchased five of these to use with AMD FX-8150 8-core processors. One board actually runs with the intended CPU, all others fail to post. Got one more working by switching to a four-core processor. The remaining three all post to code DD, then hang up. Cannot get to BIOS to flash them, so I'm stuck.
Overall Review: I liked the feature set so much, I thought I might be switching to ECS (this is my first experience with the brand). Now I'm beginning to think I should be avoiding it, and sticking with MSI, Foxconn and Gigabyte which have been trouble-free.
Top-Flight Drive
Pros: Very, very fast -- 550MB/s read / 480MB/s write with ATTO. SATA III & TRIM support means lasting performance with Win Server 2008. Low power consumption, runs cool.
Cons: none.
Overall Review: Best drives I've had yet, and have tried several similar units.

Not Ready for Release
Pros: Fast for the few minutes they worked.
Cons: This product is not ready for market. Purchased four units for server build, and had terrible problems with the installation. Drives appeared to be functional, but failed during format and disappeared from the system. Reboot brought them back, but the process just repeats. All four units died within 20 hours. This product should never have been released.
Overall Review: Patriot provides NO phone contact for support, so help from them is: enter message and hope for a response. No response of any kind in 48 hours. Filling out an RMA request resulted in Patriot closing the case without comment, contact or assistance of any kind. Patriot support forums are a picture of reps scrambling to handle an overload of complaints over disappearing drives and BSoD crashes. They've been working on a firware update for three weeks, but still can't fix the bugs. Nice responses from Patriot here are NO reflection of the non-existant support over at their site.
