Pros: This GPU has no issues playing games on the highest settings, albeit the obvious Crysis 3 and possibly Arma III. Performs superbly at 1920x1080; But 2560x1440 eats about 15-25% of the frames per second most of the time, causing frequent dips below 60.
It came with a backplate! This was very unexpected since the images do not display one on it. The 6-pin and 8-pin connectors are placed in a way that they do not obstruct each other.
Cons: Possibly it's size. But one should always research ahead of time for these factors.
Other Thoughts: Upgrading to this GPU from a Radeon HD 7850 was practically night and day. Catching this GPU on a modest sale was a fantastic purchase.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very thin, less than half an inch. Incredibly light, no more than maybe two pounds. Rather cheap while on sale for what you get.
Cons: Monitor takes at least 8-10 seconds to actually turn on; It likes to let you know that Acer made it, and that it is "Energy-saving." Wonky options menu, very difficult to navigate and took about 5-10 minutes to initially figure it out.
This monitor doesn't quite show darker colors, or black very well. It displays black as more of a dark-ish grey.
Other Thoughts: When my monitor arrived, I quickly noticed a pixel that was stuck on green. It wasn't dead, just always showed as green. I sent this monitor back to them, not once, but twice in an attempt to fix the pixel.
This monitor's own bright pixels, are a weakness to me. Not to mention Acer's wacky customer service.
