Pros: It looks cool and it comes from a brand I trust.
2.4 ghz works well.
Got it on sale.
It's AC technology
Cons: Windows 10 would not detect it of the go.
Drivers included witht the disc are outdated and useless
I bought it specifically to use it on wireless ac 5ghz
Other Thoughts: I give it two eggs because I'm connected to the internet right now writing this review.
If I had paid full price for this i'd be furious. It works on 2.4 quite well but it refuses to connect to 5ghz while my Xbox one, Surface tablet, and phone have no trouble sustaining a connection to my Asus RT68 router.
Pros: Cleans right off if you follow instructions
Cons: It has a strong scent so don't get your nose to close to it.
Other Thoughts: Before I bought this I was scraping away with tissue at old thermal paste. This thing will wipe it right off. I recommend about 4-7 drops, and do let it sit those 30 seconds. Also follow the order, bottle 1 then 2.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I just replaced my six years Arctic Freezer Pro 7(rev 2) for this, and man is there a difference.
I had been trying to overclock my phenom ii 720 BE(I know I like it old school) and kept hitting a wall past 3.4 with the Arctic. That wall was 70c when trying to blow past the 3.4 mark.
Right now I'm running prime 95 with phenom clocked at 3.6ghz and I can't break 45 C.
It's magic for overclocking, that's the truth. It also just looks and sounds so cool. At bootup you'll hear the liquid moving around for a few seconds, granted that's a frightening sound at first. It had me checking for leaks the first few minutes
Cons: It's not an easy installation. You'll definitely need the help of buddy to hold down parts while you turn the screws. It probably doesn't help that I was too lazy to remove my motherboard from its case during installation.
The most tedious part of the installation is probably screwing the fan and radiator to the back of the case. You have the use of 4 long black screws with about a quarter inch of thread at the tip, and those screws go through both the fan and the radiator. One helluva pain, but it holds up at least.
Other Thoughts: I bought this for overclocking and that's what it does best. Install it right by taking your time to screw it down evenly over the cpu and apply thermal paste correctly, and this thing will chill your CPU. On another note make sure you hook up the fan cable on a slot where the mobo can regulate the speed, otherwise it will blow at full 2500 rpm, and it'll sound like a jet engine. Make sure the block connects to the CPU FAN and make sure that it is NOT regulated by the board(NO CPU SMART FAN), you need that thing pushing water consistently.READ FULL REVIEW
