Pros: I built new desktop's for my business a few months ago and originally used 4GB. of G.Skill 1333 memory which worked pretty well until large app's, accounting, graphic's, etc. so I upgraded to 8GB. of this G.Skill 1600 and have no slow downs since. Very good memory, highly recommended.
Cons: None at all
Other Thoughts: Build components ASROCK motherboard. Intel i3-3240 CPU,
Intel HD2500 onboard graphic GPU, 500 Watt power supply.
This memory was plug and play and ran at advertised timing and frequency
Pros: For a work station this CPU is the perfect choice. I upgraded the work stations at my business and used this CPU in all the new computers. Everyone is happy with their new work station and that's saying a lot to keep everyone happy here at work. I first used the i3 in a computer I built for my wife a home (i3 2100 series) and was so impressed it was and easy choice when selecting a CPU for our business needs.
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: Until software catches up with hardware if it ever does this little processor is a great choice for home or office with 95% of all computer users. From post to usable desktop is very fast, on board video works great for most daily computer work. Coupled with a ASRock MOBO 8 GB of 1600 DDR3 and a 500 GB WD Black for the local C: drive it one hunger horse.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Installed with no problem is is running as expected. I have purchased many harddrives over the years and honestly have never had problems, yes I've had drives fail like the one this drive replaces but never have had a DOA. May be lucky or may be I know how to install a drive. I wonder if people that are having trouble with what they call DOA drives are having problems with installation. It would be interesting to know from the Egg how many of the returns are actual DOA's. Its hard for me to believe that many are leaving the manufactures that are bad.
Other Thoughts: Read installation instructions prior to installation, Its easy to forget a set in the process which can mean a non-functional drive.READ FULL REVIEW
