Pros: 6 tuners
Stable for 3 days
Cons: none currently
Other Thoughts: I replaced my infintv4-pc with this. I'll sell my old hardware to family to offset my cost. I had a working setup beforehand. Switched my cablecard into the new hardware. Installed updated software, and repaired cable card all in under an hour. 4 tuners was not enough for my family. I think 6 will be better. I'm not sure why others are complaining. The hardware has no problems. You should certainly have a Gigabit network. I haven't tried tuner pooling yet. Actually I just started using a ceton echo extender rather than a second htpc. I may try out tuner pooling to second htpc if I can't make the echo play my movies. Another benefit of the eth version over the pci version is that I think it offers more potential for power savings. With infintv4 I always kept my server htpc powered on. I can potentially power it down now and use WOL to wake it up.
For now, I chose the "stable" firmware rather than "beta" firmware.
Ratings now are too low, so I'm giving it 5 eggs. I'll try to review it again in a month after I've had more time with it.
