Pros: Worked well and was as fast as advertised. I did have to manually increase the speed of my RAM to 1600, the motherboard would only recognize it as 1333 although this may have been some type of compatibility issue and not a direct fault of the MB.
Cons: The board died after about eight months. I am an electronics technician so I have had plenty of situations with dead boards, sometimes it just happens and it was not a big deal; I was willing to let them handle it without becoming irate. I went about a month without my computer and then finally got my MB back. This is where the problems started. Now I will own my part of this, in the RMA instructions it told me not to send back any accessories, I missed this part and I thought I was supposed to send back everything. BAD IDEA, when I received the MB back all I got was the MB. None of my installation accessories (I/O shield, screws, documentation). As I said it was my fault for sending in the accessories but when the company received it they did not alert me to my mistake and inform me of my need to pay them for return shipping which I would have gladly done. Instead some person opened up my stuff, probably called me an idiot and then laughed while he threw away everything. I was not informed of any of this so now I have spent another month going back and forth with people who do not care to fix my problem, I faxed them all the paperwork about two weeks ago and when I talked to them yesterday they say that it is still in processing. There is no proactivity on the part of the company and at this point I can tell the customer service people just want me to go away. If you buy from ASUS you should be aware that they do not care about you after they make the sale and if you scour the internet you will find I am not the only one with these types of issues.READ FULL REVIEW
