RAIDMAX Cobra RX-400AF-B 400W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Raidmax RX-400AF-B Power Supply
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Price. Got this Black Friday for $23 and change. Also came with a $10 rebate. This is my 3rd Raidmax Power Supply and never have had a problem with any one of them. The oldest being 5 years. Nice looking PS with Green non LED fan.

Cons: Not Modular but at this price point who cares.

Other Thoughts: Raidmax makes some real nice PS at a reasonable price. I don't see paying a lot more for a PS when Raidmax does just as good of job at a great price.

Rosewill RCX-Z1 Long life ball bearing for over 45,000/hrs CPU Cooler

5 out of 5 eggs Rosewill RCX-Z1 06/19/2014

This review is from: Rosewill RCX-Z1 Long life ball bearing for over 45,000/hrs CPU Cooler

Pros: This is my second Rosewill RCX-Z1. I like to take old micro ATX cases from say 10 years ago and re-build them with modern equipment. This Cooler is a perfect fit for these types of cases. The Cooler move a lot of air keeping the CPU nice and cool. The Cooler can be a little noisy on high. But in these small cases you need to keep the air moving so a little noise is ok in my book. Larger fan and much more substantial heat sink then the stock AMD Cooler. Keeps my AMD FX-6300 6-core slightly overclocked to 3.7Gigs nice and cool . Mid to low 30's idle low to mid 40's under load.

Cons: Do away with the fan control and put a 4 pin PMW plug on it

4 out of 5 eggs Rosewill RCX-Z1 06/09/2014

This review is from: Rosewill RCX-Z1 Long life ball bearing for over 45,000/hrs CPU Cooler

Pros: Some people I see knock this heatsink and fan because its weak. It's really quite a good unit if you stay within specs. Some people were asking this cooler to cool a AMD FX -8350 a 8 core TDP of 125 watt monster. The RCX-Z1 is only rated to cool CPU's with a TDP of 95 watts like the AMD FX-6300. That's like asking a car radiator for a 6 cylinder engine to keep a big block 8 cylinder engine cool-Not going to do a very good job.

Cons: Do away with the fan control and put a 4 pin PMW plug on it.

Other Thoughts: Good CPU Cooler for lower watt CPU's
