Other Thoughts: Wanted a second monitor to sorta match my Acer of the same size. This guy is noticeably brighter, great color to boot!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Small, quiet, rich color, 1080p, built in HDTV tuner
Cons: Really needs a mounting system, so I'm going to get a gimbal photography mount, and mount it upside down from the ceiling.
No zoom, you'll want to use an online calc to see the picture size you'll get.
No lense shift - if it's on a table, level, the bottom of the picture is the same height as the table. My previous projector was mounted on a shelf, so I flipped this one upside down, selected ceiling mount in setup, perfect.
No HDMI cable :-(
Other Thoughts: Absolutely thrilled - 500 lumens is fine in the room we have it in.
Color and resolution are insanely good. Once I paint the wall with theater screen paint, I'll calibrate - but on a 14 year old coat of flat white, it's fine.
I have paperback books that are bigger than this thing.
Pros: After MIR and Shell Shocker, way cheap.
Sealed - no leaks
Attached to an 8 core Zambezi, running mprime on all 8 cores for an hour, highest temp was 44.
During that test, still pretty quiet! Normal use (as a hyper-v server) basically silent.
Cons: Instructions could be better, but this is always the case.
Other Thoughts: This is less expensive than the last air-cooled CPU cooler I bought. Very effective.READ FULL REVIEW
