Pros: This is a decent machine out of the box, but its real value is in how quickly and easily it can be modified.
There is a ton of information available on how to flash repetier firmware onto this machine, if you are a tech savvy individual, this is the machine for you! When the extruder drive and hot end fail (because they will fail, likely after a couple months), fear not, because for less than $20 shipped, you can put a MK8 extruder with little effort. You have to cut out a small area of the carriage, but it is practically bolt in.
Cons: Extruder/hot end will fail in a few months
Wiring harness to x-axis stepper motor will develop a short after a few months and you will have to rewire it (use 2x longer wire and there will be no wire fatigue issues)
proprietary filament cartridges (this is no longer an issue if you flash with repetier firmware)
Other Thoughts: Overall, this is a big bang for your buck. Especially at the $299 price tag. You will not likely find another fully enclosed 3D printer at this price that arrives fully assembled and functional. You better enjoy tinkering, because this one is not for those who need a maintenance free 3D Printer.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Bright, fits two documents side by side. I use these as displays for all CAD workstations in the office. You really can't beat the performance and size for the price. I will continue to buy these when I need more monitors until Newegg no longer stocks them. Currently own 7 of these, Looking forward to owning more.
Cons: Does not come with DVI cable, you'll need to purchase that if you do not have one lying around. Still a great deal for the price, 5 Eggs!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Wonderful unit, installation is simple, resolution is decent with the 8" screen, but better over the PC interface. I would definitely purchase this product again. Night vision isnt bad, it can easly see 15' it kinda fades out after that.
Cons: I may have to get another one because once you start hanging cameras, 4 channels is not enough!READ FULL REVIEW
