RAIDMAX RX-500SB 500 W ATX12V 2.2 / EPS12V Power Supply
RAIDMAX RX-500SB 500 W ATX12V 2.2 / EPS12V Power Supply

Pros: works fine and the fan keeps my box ice cold old stock power supply create my network card to stop responding and get hot to the touch. same with the box on the top and frequently ingested lots of dust. new unit stays cool.

Cons: sata power cords are short had to unscreww the hard drive to get it to work in my case will order new extender for it

Overall Review: working in a hp box with amd 64x2 5600+ 2.8 g processor 7 gs of ram 880o nvidia graphics card and vista 650g of memory (two drives) does pretty much whatever i want right now new video card shoud help with everything i dreamed of.

nice ..... at first

EVERCOOL FAN-AL9025B 92mm Aluminum Case Cooling Fan
EVERCOOL FAN-AL9025B 92mm Aluminum Case Cooling Fan

Pros: great price good look. dont know much about these things but i do know what a loud fan sounds like. fit perfect in my hp case i was looking at these for a long time before i figured out what size i needed.

Cons: great for the first month or so... last week i noticed it was getting louder. now i really cant stand it i might try to lube it a little but this fan got loud and thats really the only con i can think of.

Overall Review: i'm thinking about getting another case and i was looking at some i could put this fan into... now i'm hessitant to buy another case just on the premise of not wanting to waste the money i spent on this fan.... looks like i might have to buy another one anyways

Works as it should but not What I needed

Cables Unlimited - VGA to S-Video or RCA Adpater - 5 INCHES
Cables Unlimited - VGA to S-Video or RCA Adpater - 5 INCHES

Pros: Works like it should. But this turned out not to be what I needed. great price for an item that I would have paid more for trying to find it somewhere else.

Cons: Kinda cheaply made, but handy if you dont have a digital signal running to a electronic that cannot accept a digital signal.

Overall Review: Nothing to say about the plug but my computer will only run digital signals through the vga port I have a old school tv that has a s-video input and thought this was what I needed. I have to by a video signal converter to compensate for this but I found one for $18.78 on another website that is used for digital security cameras. now I can stream video from my laptop to tv.

Good cooler

Thermaltake MaxOrb CL-P0369 120mm CPU Cooler
Thermaltake MaxOrb CL-P0369 120mm CPU Cooler

Pros: cool blue LED cools really well but still need some more keeping my Phenom II X 4 b50 at 45c idle running at 3.7ghz

Cons: had to spread heat sink fins to keep the fans from rubbing at full RPM's. Huge compared to stock cooler but what else can you expect for better cooling

Overall Review: would like to see more cfm's or more heat pipes in this design to allow better heat dissipation. one problem I have is the lack of air going through my case and the fact that my desk doesn't allow good air flow into the tower "cubby" Kept my cpu (before over clock) in high 30's-40's C before I moved it into the cubby. with amd cool and quiet turned off

Great deal

AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition - Phenom II X2 Callisto Dual-Core 3.1 GHz Socket AM3 80W Desktop Processor - HDZ550WFK2DGI
AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition - Phenom II X2 Callisto Dual-Core 3.1 GHz Socket AM3 80W Desktop Processor - HDZ550WFK2DGI

Pros: So i kept reading reviews of people unlocking the extra 2 cores and I immediately figure this would be a good deal. my old processor was a amd 64x2 5600+ running at 2.6 I believe. so this was a upgrade anyways. Never really tweeked with setting much but got the extra cores unlocked a few months ago. Overclocked it today!

Cons: with the extra cores unlocked and amd cool and quiet turned off this runs hot like mid 40's Celsius with a Max Orb running full speed

Overall Review: Amd overdrive utility took this to 3.7 running all 4 cores. stable idle at 45C not too bad gonna upgrade my cooler and add 2 more fans with a higher cfm to the case (only have 2 right now) and that should take care of any heat I have. Phenom II X 4 B50 (what it is called unlocked) running at 3.7ghz Max orb cooler 6 gb Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 ati radeon 5670 GIGABYTE GA-MA790GP-DS4H in thermaltake soprano case

shinny

Thermaltake MaxOrb CL-P0369 120mm CPU Cooler
Thermaltake MaxOrb CL-P0369 120mm CPU Cooler

Pros: went in like butter! uhh kinda gross! looks good though i had to put my ear to the case to make sur i had a computer. this thing is amazinly more quiet than my stock cpu fan. crazy queit by day... shinny and blue by night.

Cons: nothing with the fan or heatsink really other than some of the thin "foils" were bent when it arrived. also not that this is new eggs fault but the next day i ordered this last shipment from new egg my hard drive started throwing errors. looks like i'll have to buy more stuff! (evil genuis laugh inserted here)

Overall Review: thermaltake soprano rs case two blue led fans (three fans total) thermaltake max orb gigabyte GA-MA790GP-DS4H amd 5600+ 64x2 (not overclocked will use it to "practice" once i get the new one) 7gb or ddr2 667 ram (upgrading when i get the phenom II 955) two hdd' 1@250gb and the failing one at 400gb no video card yet just the stock raedon 3300 (onboard)
