Pros: 11" tablet with I5 with snappy performance. Has TPM for extra security (read the manual, download it from Samsung). Overall, very pleased with this purchase.
Cons: AC adapter gets very hot, almost too hot to hold in your hand.
Other Thoughts: My unit arrived with only very minor scratches where the unit contacts the docking stating. Other than that, it's pristine!!
I did talk to Newegg before buying and they told me that I could return/exchange it if it was too scratched for my liking. I got lucky, maybe?? If you receive one that is grossly scratched, just return it for an exchange.
Thanks to the previous reviewer for the tip about the Samsung updater software. It's called Samsung Update. Be careful because it will try to install some Samsung bloatware that you might not want (Play Touch Twitter, Play Tough Social Dashboard, Play Touch Yahoo Finance, etc).
Battery life seems so so, but it may take a few charge cycles to get maximum performance. I'm only getting ~4 hours with continuous use in "power saving" mode.
Pros: Just an update for my previous review regarding different SD cards....
Cons: OK, going to add a con in that it does not support 64GB cards...
Other Thoughts: OK, I'm a D.A.... The manual clearly says "up to 32GB SD cards". I received the 64GB card listed in my previous review, put it in the dashcam and immediately got a "format failed" error.
So I then re-read the manual and discovered what I had missed: that this dashcam only supports 32GB max. However, I may have found a way around formatting issues with cards other than class6. If you get a "format failed" message, plug the dashcam into your computer and format it from the computer (fat32). The disconnect the dashcam and restart it unattached. You may get a "format not optimum... optimize? Yes/No". Choose "yes" and you'll be good to go. I was able to format a non-Samsung 64GB card this way (although it only formatted to 32GB).
Anyhow, just a heads up on how to maybe get around formatting issues if you try a class10 card/non-Samsung card and it doesn't work initially...
Pros: Tiny, easy to install, auto on/off, fantastic wide angle HD video, easy play back. Tech support (Larry) replies almost instantly to questions.
Cons: Not really a con, but I agree with the previous review that it would be preferable for the double-sided tape to be black.
Other Thoughts: I bought an after-market step down cord from dealextreme for less than $7 and connected it to my mirror harness in the overhead console. No more hanging cords !! And no need to spend $20 for that cord.
I get about 200 minutes of HD video on the provided 16GB card. I just purchased a class 6, UHS 64GB card from Newegg (item #9SIA4641F36723) and will update this review when I receive it. I talked to Larry and he said the only reason they recommend class 6 cards is because they found some class 10 cards didn't work with the Ojocam, but they don't have the capability to test all the different class 10 cards to know for sure.
