THE BEST DDR2 RAM
Pros: Very fast, low temp, low volts, booted right up to factory spec, and the chips even look great!
Cons: none
Overall Review: I have used alot of top end ram, mushkin, corsair, ocz, cucial, patriot. They all have some greats some of my favorites being crucial(very stable)patriot (fast)But I have never had 4 gigs of ddr2 clocked 1340 5-5-5-15 at 1.8 volts as a 24/7 setting UNTILL NOW!!! THESE CHIPS ROCK and are now the rulers of ddr2.Also friends are telling me they are cas 4 1200mhz 1.9 volts no problem G.SKILL ARE NOW MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CHIPS (fast and stable)
GREAT RAM
Pros: Running 4 chips (8gb) at 1100 non-stop for 3 weeks now and no problems 2.15 v very stable fast and not to hot.ALSO my past experiance with returns to patriot have been great, they communicate well and really went above and beyond to take care of me ,I hope these chips last for ever because I love them that much, but if something were to go wrong I know PATRIOT would hook me up.......
Cons: none
Loyal DFI no more ASUS MUCH BETTER!!!
Pros: This board has so many great things, (read on the asus site)and they all work!!!runs cool and clean, electricity gets along real well with this board. VERY STABLE....VERY WELL ORGANIZED..VERY POWERFULL!!!
Cons: Only wish it had the X48 instead of the p45 chipset, but the difference is so small it would be for the benchmark master who has already maxed every other possibility.
Overall Review: I have been building computers since the 80's were talking IBM clones 286's,486's.For the past 5-6 years I have been loyal to DFI ,and INTEL for motherboards,AND THE DFI BOARDS ARE NO LONGER FOR ME!! I have used all they have to offer and non are as stable and well put together as this board.I would have to say DFI is overpriced. This board is a bargin and I recommend it to anyone!!
