Pros: I have had two of these working in the universal repeater mode and found they work a whole lot more smoothly at Firmware Version:V1.00(AAEX.3)C0 or later if one comes out after this current one. Setup is much easier now that I am at this version. Set your setup PC to a fixed IP of 192.168.1.3 and you can access the WAP at 192.168.1.2. Use the EaZY123 script up in right hand corner of admin screen to setup values. First fields are for the router information you are connecting to and second screen is for the SSID and password of the WAP.
Some have noted conflicts with the 192.168.1,2 IP address for the WAP but it does allow you to change that in the Configuration, LAN tab.
Cons: Some have noted conflicts with the 192.168.1,2 IP address for the WAP.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Installation software worked first time. WIndows 8.x driver was loaded and TP-Link came up right away. I shut off Wifi on the same floor with this PC and card connected to Wireless access point on another floor and at the other end of the house, It locked in and gave good performance. I turned back on Wifi on same floor with PC and wireless performance was excellent. Great card for me!
Cons: A little more costly than some of the comparables but worth it since it seems to be very reliable.
Other Thoughts: My new favorite wireless adapter cardREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill RNWD-N9003PCE - Dual Band Wireless N900 Adapter - IEEE 802.11a/11b/11g/11n, Up to 450 Mbps (5.0 GHz) + 450 Mbps (2.4 GHz) Data Rates, PCI E Interface, 3 External Detachable Antenna
Pros: I have always had good results with Rosewill wireless cards
Cons: This card and associated software and drivers caused my Windows 8.1 to give the Windows 8.1 equivalence of a BSOD. Windows was not able to recover and I removed the card. I could not restore to a previous point and had to run the 'Refresh your PC' utility in the advanced section. Rosewill has taken this card off their website but I have written them to see if there is any fix for this.READ FULL REVIEW
