COOLMAX CU series CU-700B 700W ATX12V SLI Ready Modular and Compatible with Core i3/i5/i7 Power Supply
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Quiet, easy to clean, enough cords and cords are long enough. 3 years of working

Cons: Died with a very loud bang pop and sparks. Took out my mobo, ram, and harddrive. CoolMax very quickly sent out a replacement. The replacement seems to lack the power and causes resets.
ASUS Sabertooth 990fx am3+
AMD FX-8150 8 core
Samsung 64gb SSD
Western Digital 2tb
Gskill sniper series 8gb (2x4gb)
Radeon 5850HD

Other Thoughts: It lasted for 2 and a half years with my original setup
ASUS m4a79xtd mobo
AMD Phenom II x4 955 Black Edition
GSKILL Ripjaws 8gb (4x2gb)
Radeon HD 5850
I upgraded and it died after six months. After getting all my parts warrenty replaced the system has random resets. I replaced the video card with a less powerful card. (one that doesn't need the 2 6pins) The computer now runs without resets. I give it 3 eggs for the 3 years it worked but I would still suggest getting something a bit more powerful for components build in 2012 on.
