This review is from: Bulova 98B160 Strap Men's Quartz Watch
Pros: Looks great. Strap is very high quality.
Cons: Poor precision, internal parts look plastic. When you adjust the time, all three hands move a little, kind of like a cheap wall clock. The second hand never aligns with any of the tick marks.
Other Thoughts: I was expecting this to be better than my Citizen Eco-Drive Perpetual watch, but it falls far flat (and the Citizen was the same price as this lists for). I was disappointed in the quality but I got it for a really low price on black friday so I can't complain. Won't be buying another Bulova though- the quality doesn't seem to match the price.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASRock 880GM-LE FX AM3+ AMD 880G + SB710 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Much faster in the benchmarks than my 785G board, when it works.
Cons: Almost never works. The northbridge runs at nearly 60C at idle, even if I put a fan right on it. As soon as I run a game or any intensive program, it shuts down. I tried different ram and GPU to no avail- it appears to be a thermal issue with the northbridge. Maybe it needs a bigger heatsink? Oh well, not my problem- I'm going to return it.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Patriot Torqx 2 PT264GS25SSDR 2.5" 64GB SATA II Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Pros: Fast! Over 200 read/write on benchmark software. I switched from a 5400rpm drive to this, so the difference is night and day. I honestly don't know why I didn't do it sooner- for $1/gb (after rebate), there is no reason that anyone should own a laptop with a mechanical drive.
Cons: I'm not sure that it's the fastest SSD out there. I used to have a sandforce based SSD that seemed "quicker", although both had similar read/write. The sandforce controller was nothing but trouble for my laptop though, with the drive frequently disappearing. No problems like that with the Patriot!
Other Thoughts: Really no excuse not to have one of these in every laptop!READ FULL REVIEW
