Pros: Runs ok so far, good price.
Cons: After driver installation, I could not get it to output from the HDMI port at all. So I'm stuck with VGA. Maybe this is AMD's fault, but I'm not sure. It's weird because it'll output from HDMI at 1080p just fine with no video driver installed at all.
What's worse: I could not get my wifi adapter to work for the life of me, and was ready to blame the adapter. I went to re-seat the adapter in case that was the problem, and THE WHOLE PCIEx1 HEADER CAME OFF! I was very gentle! Now I'm wondering about the integrity of the rest of the solder joints... I really don't feel like reflowing this thing. Very disappointed in ASUS now.
Pros: Works great, and I really like the adjustable height - much better than trying to find the right sized book to put underneath.
Cons: The integrated speakers work, but they are wimpy and extremely tinny sounding (the manual says they are 2 Watts each). It sounds a lot like someone hung a pair of headphones behind the monitor and cranked the volume up all the way. I tested, and playing music through my cell phone's speaker (S4) is louder, and sounds better.
I'm using the monitor with my laptop for work, whose speakers are naturally a step up from the cell phone (and the monitor). Had I realized this, I probably would've gone for a monitor with no speakers.
Pros: Cheap, works. Judging by other reviews, this stuff has lower doa rates than a lot of the bigger-name modules.
Cons: Wasn't free. Doesn't have 0 latency.
Other Thoughts: I used this in a build for my grandma. I just wanted to boot a new build the first time, and not have to worry about problems for a while. So far, it's working great.READ FULL REVIEW
