Thermaltake Armor Reve Gene VO800M6W2N Black / White SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

4 out of 5 eggs Good Case. Not a fan of rush processing/paying for faster shipping 01/28/2014

This review is from: Thermaltake Armor Reve Gene VO800M6W2N Black / White SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: I purchased this case to replace my old Antec 900 from 2007. Efficient, good cable management, and it looks pretty cool. My computer is used for gaming and cryptocurrency mining. My r9 290 never gets about 78*C in there. It is a good case.

Cons: I purchased a second one to build a second mining computer. I also paid for faster shipping and rush processing. My case is finally being sent out from new jersey on the day it was supposed to arrive. I like the case, but I'm not happy with newegg in this instance.

Other Thoughts: I understand in the Product Review Guidelines indicate that there shall be no criticism of operational partners, but FedEx picked up the item today. Not really FedEx's fault on this one. I essentially wasted 2.99 rush processing and wasted the money spent on faster shipping. I feel that newegg misrepresented there shipping services and rush processing with this sale.

5 out of 5 eggs Impressed to an extent 04/08/2009

This review is from: EVGA E758-TR 3-Way SLI (x16/x16/x8) LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Solid board, great drivers, great utilities, love e-leet oc utility. Looks awesome, has a numbered led to show you boot codes/cpu temp. Insanely easy to overclock

Cons: It takes a while to boot up, a good 8-10 seconds pass before i get the bios *beep*. It was really a pain to put in a aftermarket cooler but i got it.

Intel Core i7-920 Bloomfield Quad-Core 2.66GHz LGA 1366 130W Processor BX80601920

Pros: Wow, this is an amazing processor. I have been an AMD fan for most of my life, the last time I owned an Intel was the original Pentium. My last processor was an AMD Phenom X4 9950 140W. It was fast but it was never as smooth and responsive as this processor. I have never been so amazed by a processor. I will NEVER go back to AMD.

Cons: It was a bit more expensive than AMD competitor processor, but a LOT faster. So you get what you pay for I guess.
