Intel Core i7-950 Bloomfield Quad-Core 3.06 GHz LGA 1366 130W BX80601950 Processor
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Very durable and reliable card. I have thrown everything from 3DS max to the Sandbox Simulator at it and it performs wonderfully.

I even had an incident about a year back where the CPU cooler went out over the weekend while I was gone and was running SETI@home calculations. logs said it was running at about 85C mid-way into Saturday and continued until late Sunday, when I came home. Still performs like a champ another year later.

Cons: Discontinued.

Other Thoughts: Why was it discontinued?

5 out of 5 eggs Solid 22" LCD Monitor! Worth it. 06/16/2009

This review is from: Acer X223Wbd Black 22" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 2500:1

Pros: Fantastic monitor from my experience so far. Bought it when it was on sale a bit ago and have been loving it. The colors are clear and the contrast seems pretty dang sharp as far as "true white" goes on monitors. Games look pretty sleek and the unit isn't all that heavy.
It also comes with two different ports, an VGA (the old blue pyramid-esque ports most CRTs do) and a DVI port (the longer, grey one with the funky pins), also coming with a matching cable for each! Ontop of that! They even give you the standardVGVI-DVI converter too, so you're not missing out on anything. You want VGA-VGA? You got it! VGA-DVI again!? You got it!

But seriously, wonderful monitor. Worth the money. Very easy to use, responsive, no dead pixels, nadda but crisp sights.

Cons: None really.
