This review is from: ARRIS SB5101U SURFboard Cable Modem USB and Ethernet 10/100Base-T DOCSIS 2.0
Pros: Speed and reliability was amazing when new, particularly compared to my previous failing modem. I like the pause feature, to temporarily disable internet connectivity when away or needing to lock down the network for a while without unplugging everything.
Cons: Almost exactly one year after purchase, this unit is showing increasing pockets of downtime. If it's anything like my last modem, this will get worse until it fails, but I might have a few months left if I'm patient with the downtime (I'm not, I'll be buying a new one).
Other Thoughts: I actually own the previous model, the SB5101 (which was $20 cheaper). It failed after a year, and only had a 1 year warranty. Not terrible, but I don't understand why cable modems fail like this. Also, my previous modem lasted 6 years while this one only lasted one. Hopefully the next modem lasts a little longer.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Built a new, more quiet system. I haven't noticed this drive making it any louder. It's working well so far.

This review is from: AMD Phenom II X3 710 Triple-Core 2.6 GHz Socket AM3 95W HDX710WFGIBOX Processor
Pros: Paired this with DDR2 800 in a ASRock A780GXE mobo ("AM3 ready"). Working nicely with no problems so far. Temperatures are great at normal settings - haven't tried overclocking.
Cons: none so far.READ FULL REVIEW
