Pros: SLI capable.
Great BIOS options
Cons: Failed within 2 months.
Other Thoughts: I purchased this board for a new build. Withing a couple months one of the PCI Express 3.0 slots had failed making it incapable of using my SLI configuration.
I called ASUS and spoke to a tech who informed me that it failed because I was using a PCI Express 2.0 card with the board. First off this is of course not the case and secondly I had not told him what Video cards I had been using.
I finally got transferred to someone who knew something. He set up an RMA and packed the board up very carefully.
Now however ASUS is claiming that the board has bent CPU Pins. This despite the fact that the fact that the Pins were fine when I put the protector back on to ship it.
Now I am going around and around with Tech Support trying to get them to fix the board or even just send it back to me.
A big part of my job is selling Asus computers and after this experience I am having a hard time suggesting them to my customers.
Pros: Solid Case.
Plenty of room for Extra Fans.
Keeps my system very cool.
Cons: Obvious workmanship issues.
I have one very large complaint about this case. On the back of the case the steel is folded over on the corners. Pretty standard on a case like this. However mine was not folded over properly so when I grabbed the case to put it on my work bench I ended up taking a large gouge out of my hand that required stitches. Yes I should have checked closely however someone was obviously not careful during manufacturing.
Very good Cooler.
Cons: No Mini Displayport
Other Thoughts: This is a great card. I picked it up to replace an SLI Setup. So far my only complaint is that it doesn't have a Mini Displayport so I had to get a conversion cable to use with my Apple Cinema Display.READ FULL REVIEW
