Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-03 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case with white LED Fans ATX Power Supply (not included)
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Cheap(ish)
I like that you can remove the front panel without the wiring. Nice.

Cons: Dont plan on using any of Corsairs CLC with this
Flimsy
No room above the mobo to route any wiring this side of a fan lead. (even worse with a sabertooh mobo)
Built really cheap. The dust filters while nice, are poorly attached. The top one will sag without fans.
Top fans will not fit RAM with heat spreaders.

Other Thoughts: I built a decent PC for my son and he loves the look of the case, but what a terrible case to build. How can Corsair make a case that is incompatible with its own product line?

Sabertooth Z77
I7 2700k
16gb Gskill ripjaws
EVGA GTX 750 Ti FTW
EVGA 500 psu
Seagate Momentus XT
Corsair H60 (unused)

Fractal Design Define R4 with Window Titanium Grey Silent ATX Mid Tower Case
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: See below

Cons: Window on the left side, front panel door opens to the left. It should open to the right. See Other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: Just to add to my review. Why put a window on the left side of the case, yet make the front "door" open to the left? Makes no sense. Shouldn't it open to the right? I mean, I would assume the window would be facing the user (you know, so we can see inside) so why does the door open toward you?

3 out of 5 eggs Nice case... dissapointed with QC 11/15/2013

This review is from: Fractal Design Define R4 with Window Titanium Grey Silent ATX Mid Tower Case

Pros: Very high quality overall
Drive bays are HEAVY and have a sturdy feel
Nice layout
Tons of room
Excellent for cable management

Cons: Top sheet metal is very flimsy (the panel with 2 fan openings)
Mine arrived with a concave top panel!
Front fan housing was loose inside the case
1 of the locating "stand offs" for the front panel was broken and rattling around the case
Much bigger than I thought it was going to be (Knew I should of got the MIDI R2!)
Still waiting on FD to call me back or return an email (not happy FD!)

Other Thoughts: The original box had no visible damage. Just my luck I tell ya.
