awesome!!!
Pros: matches the OEM green dash lights on my 1997 subaru outback. looks like a factory stereo, but plays MP3 CDs and I can plug my iPod into the auxiliary jack. VERY good sound quality, easy to use... has not broken or given me any trouble at all. easy installation (standard 1-din size). my outback is the "limited" version which came with a really nice pioneer sound system... subwoofer, tweeters, etc. but the OEM headunit left a lot to be desired (plus it was broken and no longer played CDs). this head unit paired with the awesome factory speaker system = amazing. my wife listens to a lot of rap/r&b/pop music and it has good bass without any distortion (better than my 2008 WRX's sound system).
Cons: none!
Overall Review: they might make the color adjustable in the future, and ditch the silver accents in exchange for gunmetal (to make it even less eye-catching to potential criminals). but that's just cosmetic. this thing is a steal for under $100!!! BUY IT.
worked great until it caught on fire
Pros: does what it says -- 650w of power, very quiet, low power consumption, no issues powering my PC.
Cons: caught on fire after a year, took my motherboard and RAM with it. luckily the CPU survived.
Overall Review: opened an RMA after it happened, never heard back from Antec about it -- looked into it more recently and they've replaced their old RMA system, so I guess mine got lost in the shuffle. luckily I'm still within the 3yr window, so I opened a new RMA and I'm hoping they replace my unit with a different model. after reading the reviews here, I'm afraid of using this model. I prefer not dying in my sleep.
