This review is from: MTX StreetAudio iX1 On-Ear Acoustic Monitor Headphones - Black
Pros: I just got these headphones. Been wearing them for about 30 mins, if that.
The sound from these headphones is pretty good. Very clear, not muffled like some others.
Cons: However, there really isn't that much base. Aside from that, the earcups are tiny and overall the headphones are very tight. After 30 mins, my ears are already hurting. Also, the headphones are extended as far as they go. My head is of medium size, it's not like need to special order hats because my head is giant. For 200 bucks, these headphones just aren't worth it.
Other Thoughts: I bought a set of Phillips O'neal headphones 2 yrs ago and they finally died because of cord problems. However, the sound in those headphones was great. And they fit perfectly. And they cost 30 bucks. I will be returning these shortly, and will just have to swallow the 15% restocking fee, which is gonna end up being 30 bucks. Very disappointed to say the least.
Also, seriously, are these headphones made for women or young teens? I just can't believe how freaking small they are.
This review is from: PHILIPS White 3.5mm O'Neill THE STRETCH Headband Headset SHO9567WT/28
Pros: I got these head pones for $30 back in early 2012. Since I bought them, I pretty much wear them on a daily basis for a minimum of 2 hrs a day, sometimes on the head and sometimes just around the neck. The sound is loud enough so I can easily hear them while they are around my neck. It's also nice when you want to spread the music around but don't have speakers.
I can't believe how well these head phones have held up over the 19 or so months that I've had them.
Overall, the sound quality is good, I do wish they had a little more bass to them, but I'm one of those people who think everything needs more bass.
Also, these headphones do a great job of cancelling outside noise, so if you are in the middle of a crowd or something, you can put these on, and play music without disturbing anyone else and without having to hear anyone else.
Additionally, I can't count how many times I've gotten complements from random people about how cool my headphones are. It's brightens up my day. And they only cost $30.
Cons: The only real problem I've had with these head phones is the cord that goes from the male connector right next to the head phones themselves to the music player. The original cord worked great, but not for long. It lasted about 6 months, and then I bought a new 6 foot 3.5mm cable. The sad part is that many of the cables being sold are really, really terrible, so it was a bit of a hassle for a while. But, eventually I bought a nice $7 cable and it lasted me about 9 months, which was pretty good, considering the amount of use I got out of it. I ended up getting another one of those cables, this time for free, and now I know I don't have to worry about this problem for another year.
Other than the intermediary cable going bad, I have never had any problems with these head phones, and I really love em.
Other Thoughts: I doubt you can find a better set of head phones for $30, which was the cost when I purchased them. I know they are discontinued on newegg but I'm sure they are still being sold on some website or another. If you are looking for an quality under $50 set of head phones, these are what you are looking for.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Well, apparently it's 200 bucks now but when i bought it last year end of december it was 80. It was hard for me to believe the price change. When it was 80, it was a great value, especially for the 2TB.
Cons: 11 months, and S.M.A.R.T. is telling me the HDD is on the way out. So now I will be in the process of trying to get it fixed or get a new one thru the manufacturer warranty. should be interesting, and i hate losing all of the info that is on it.READ FULL REVIEW
