This review is from: ASUS Google Nexus 7 First Gen 7" 32 GB Android Wi-Fi Tablet
Pros: when it works it is useful. When it works...
Cons: prone to numerous breakdowns, lousy warranty service.. prepare to be angry and frustrated if it breaks
Other Thoughts: I had to send mine for Asus warranty service 3 times in 1 year. Each time it takes between 2 and 3 weeks to get it back. You have to pay postage to get it to warranty center. When Asus sends it back you have to be home to sign for it. They don't keep their word about what they tell you they will do for warranty service over the phone. I was told by the Asus tech they would replace my unit on the third return, but they did not. My guess is Asus has lots of refurbished models to sell because they have thousands of units that needed repairs. I wouldn't take a chance on one of these because they may work for a short time and then break after warranty is up. The second warranty return I did, Asus sent it back to me saying nothing was wrong and it worked for about 3 weeks and totally died. A few days before my warranty was up they replaced the motherboard (3rd warranty return to Texas service center).READ FULL REVIEW
