5 out of 5 eggs Great board 03/24/2009

This review is from: DFI LP DK X48-T2RSB PLUS LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: - 8 segment LED displays on board make overclocking easy
- Seems to have very good memory overclocking stability
- X48 chipset so you can run Crossfire the way it is supposed to work
- Lots of SATA ports
- Best overclocking BIOS in the industry

Cons: - angled SATA ports are hard to get to sometimes.

SMC LG-ERICSSON SMCGS8 Unmanaged Unmanaged 8 Ports Compact Switches

5 out of 5 eggs Excellent Switch 03/14/2009

This review is from: SMC LG-ERICSSON SMCGS8 Unmanaged Unmanaged 8 Ports Compact Switches

Pros: Good price. All the features that actually effect performance. Reliable. No internal fans. Has worked perfectly from day one and has exceeded my expectations for reliability.

Cons: None really. It is a little bit hard to tell which lights are on on the front panel (from a distance) because that information is printed next to the LED windows and the pattern of the lights doesn't necessarily allow you to determine which ones are which. I had a Linksys router that had different colors of LED for different things and the pattern of LEDs that were usually on allowed you to determine, even without being able to read the labels on the front, which lights were on after you had memorized the normal pattern. This switch doesn't have an LED pattern that allows one to do that so easily, but this is really not a big deal at all.
