TRENDnet TEW-731BR N300 Wireless Home Router

1 out of 5 eggs Avoid this Router 08/31/2015

This review is from: TRENDnet TEW-731BR N300 Wireless Home Router

Pros: Range
resets quickly (I should know)

Cons: Cuts out regularly, needs to be reset constantly.
Blocks access to common websites sporadically (Yahoo, Newegg)

Other Thoughts: I thought I was upgrading when I purchased this, I was wrong. I was replacing an old microsoft router that would need to be rebooted about once a week. I've had this router for quite a while now and I can clearly say I wish I had never bought it. I've had it RMA'd once already and it was supposedly a new one. Same issues keep occurring. I use it for wireless stuff and also as a pass through for my PC.
It constantly fails to connect to webpages. after some research there's some type of internal firewall that I cannot access. I've chewed out my provider so many times for them to point at the router and then prove it to be the issue. It's left a bad taste in my mouth for TrendNET all together now. This was supposedly an awesome low priced router when I got it, but after nearly 3 years of on going struggle, I'm going to have to buy a NEW one to replace this one. What an aggravation it has been. Under light usage even it struggles. I mainly use my Wi-Fi for clash of clans, email, and texting. But it still can't seem to be reliable. That's awful in my book.

1 out of 5 eggs Keep Shopping 07/11/2014

This review is from: TRENDnet TEW-731BR N300 Wireless Home Router

Pros: The price is right, but you get what you pay for. At first it was good, not great but good. Sleek.

Cons: Signal weak barely gets a signal across my home. Has some kind of built in firewall, that disrupts my satellite signal. Upgrade more troubling than helpful. When it was working needed to be reset at least once daily. I upgraded from an older different brand router, thought I was getting a better one but I was mistaken. Very sad I can keep a reliable signal.

Other Thoughts: I had a TrendNet switch I really like thats why I tried their router, very disappointed. I've given it many chance and have upgraded the firmware, I've had it for 2 years and I'm about to have to buy a new one due to its inconsistencies.

LOGISYS Computer Area 51 CS51WBK Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 480W Power Supply

Pros: Door, protects DVD openings and connectors from Dust. Nice Case for the money. Lots of space. And more places for fans than in specs, will hold 4 not 3.

Cons: Thumb screws. Not that big of a deal but I'd like a latch. No shipping deal. $15 for shipping really adds to the low price, BUT I ordered it at noon and rec'd it at 2pm the next day. (Thats the regular basic shipping NOT NEXT DAY) Can't beat that, plus the case is heavy.

Other Thoughts: Pair this with a few of Newegg's cheap LED fans and you've got a super nice PC case for a great low price.
