GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 980 Ti GV-N98TG1 GAMING-6GD 6GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support ATX Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: - Stable overclock to 1500 mhz boost
- Stays cool. My case has pretty good airflow, so it basically never goes over 72 C
- Great aesthetics

Cons: - Gigabyte software is clunky
- Heavy, but the sag is fairly minimal
- Had to RMA my first one

Other Thoughts: I'm very happy now that I got a good card. It pushes a lot of games to 120 fps+ on 1440p. Witcher 3 with a mix of High and Ultra settings sits in the 80-90 range comfortably (except when raining).

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 980 Ti GV-N98TG1 GAMING-6GD 6GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support ATX Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: LED logo looks good.

Cons: - Crashes within a couple minutes at any frequency over the OC Mode setting
- Low ASIC Score: 67%
- Coil whine

Other Thoughts: I'm pretty disappointed with this card. I paid a premium to get a great card, and it wasn't worth the upgrade at all over my Asus Strix 970. You would think that Gigabyte would be more selective when binning for their G1 line of cards, but I guess not.

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 980 Ti GV-N98TG1 GAMING-6GD 6GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support ATX Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: - Obviously a very fast card
- Love the aesthetics
- No GPU sag

Cons: - Low ASIC value: 67%
- Not as good overclocking as others have gotten, crashes above 1460 boost no matter what I do
- OC Guru is worse than other overclocking programs

Other Thoughts: Overall, I'm underwhelmed for the money. I wish disappointing overclocking was grounds for a return.
