Amazing Spacious Case

NZXT H630 CA-H630F-M1 Matte Black Ultra Tower Silent Case Includes 1 x 200mm Front, 1 x 140mm Rear 2 x USB 3.0 2 x USB 2.0 SD Card Reader

Pros: This case has been everything I hoped for. Tons of room with plenty left over after assembly of my build. While not totally silent (obviously), it is not at all noticeable unless it is the only thing on in the room. I added three 120mm fans to this case so I am impressed that it is still so quiet. The air circulation is great even though it seems like it wouldn't be. I love the sleek simple look of this case. If you are looking for a large, sleek and quiet case then look not further. I am coming from an antec p180 and I love this case so much more.

Cons: The only thing I can ding it for is that you can't turn on the back panel LED while the PC is not powered on.

Overall Review: Great case and I couldn't be happier. I had never heard of NZXT before this purchase so I am pretty stoked about how awesome this case is.

Card is great, rebate is a scam

EVGA ACX Cooler 03G-P4-2784-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 Superclocked 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card
EVGA ACX Cooler 03G-P4-2784-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 Superclocked 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card

Pros: This card has been great to me. Runs everything at max setting I have thrown at it and stays at or below 65 degrees. Pretty amazing piece of hardware (especially since I am upgrading from an 8800 GTS). I chose this card over the GTX 770 because they extra money seemed worth the extra performance. The price/performance jump to the GTX 780Ti still seems not worth it to me though.

Cons: This is where EVGA has lost my business. The rebate is a total scam, and while I realize this is true for all mail in rebates, I had high hopes for my favorite hardware company. At this point they have wasted about three hours of my time sending me in circles over $20 measly dollars. I followed the instructions exactly and even emailed them pictures after they denied my claim. They then told me to call an 800 number. The woman at that number told me the exact same thing the email said. I am now done dealing with EVGA completely. I will be the bigger man and give the graphics card 5 eggs because it deserves it (when I look at the number of eggs I want to know about the hardware). However, EVGA customer service deserves no eggs. So 5 out of 10 eggs if you include customer service and appreciation.

Overall Review: I really don't want to give up on EVGA, but I spend too much money on PC hardware to be treated like this. There are too many other quality hardware companies out there that would be happy to have my business.

MSI has a terrible rebate program

MSI Z77A-G45 Thunderbolt LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
MSI Z77A-G45 Thunderbolt LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: This motherboard works great. The bios let you use a USB mouse which is pretty cool. Started right up out of the box first try. No complaints about the hardware.

Cons: Here is the reason why I will probably go back to EVGA exclusively after this board. MSI's rebate program is a joke. I followed the extremely convoluted rebate instructions as closely as possible and on time. I mailed it to their rebate center in California with a copy of the order invoice, a signed form I had to print out, and the UPC from the box all after I had to initiate the stupid process online. After all the trouble they returned it to me and said I mailed it to the wrong MSI rebate center and to send it to the one in Texas. I did that as soon as they returned it to me and I have yet to hear anything back from them. I'm assuming because by the time they returned it to me the 30 day rebate period had passed. I don't like being jerked around after going through so much trouble for a $20 rebate and probably won't do business with MSI again because I feel like they could help me but choose not to.

Overall Review: I am about to buy a GTX 770 to complete my build and will be purchasing it from anyone but MSI now.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 - Core 2 Quad Kentsfield Quad-Core 2.4 GHz LGA 775 95W Processor - HH80562PH0568M

Pros: Runs very cool at stock 2.4 clock. I took it up to 3.0 Ghz and only raised about five degrees idle. Under full system load (large file transfer or game) CPU only gets to 38 degrees.

Cons: none

Overall Review: This CPU is amazing for the price and is great for gaming (especially Supreme Commander).
