This review is from: SYBA ExpressCard to PCI-Express Conversion Card Model SD-PEX-EXPC
Pros: I'm running Win7x64 Ultimate and conversion card fit the PCI-E slot solidly and works. There is no driver to install and the card is completely transparent to the operating system, so there was no way to tell if it was working until the Rosewill IEEE 1394a ExpressCard I ordered arrived. Of course you will need a driver for the inserted ExpressCard itself. The ExpressCards I have use the PCI-E instead of the USB interface so that functionality is TBD. The indicator lights showing which interface is in use is a nice touch.
Cons: None with the card so far, however in the Newegg.com details spec it appears as if the card provides "Internal USB Ports : 1x USB Port" which it does not. The internal USB port is used with an accompanying cable to connect the conversion card to a motherboard USB header to support ExpressCards that use USB instead of PCI-E. This was not an issue for me, but could be misleading to some buyers.
Other Thoughts: The only issue I had was that I initially inserted the ExpressCard upside down so it seemed not to work at first. I have a vertical case and the ExpressCard needs to be inserted with the top facing down. A quick look at the lettering next to the indicator lights will lit you know how the ExpressCard needs to be oriented, if the words are upside down then the top of the card faces down.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: METAPO BB-400 Replacement Battery for iRobot Roomba 400 Series
Pros: Low price, runs longer than the original.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: I had the Roomba on the charger only 20 minutes before it appeared fully charged. I thought I'd exhaust the battery and do another full charge just-in-case. I didn't time it but was surprised when my Roomba ran for over and hour and a half.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Works fine. A simple, easy and fast way to breath new life into a notebook.
Cons: If it could only remember where I left my keys.
Other Thoughts: I set about upgrading my Acer Aspire 5920G with a larger faster hard drive and Window 7 x64. I decided to add more memory too since I can now take advantage of all 4 Gigs. The overall effect is a smoother and more responsive feel during day to day use. It's also nice to be able to specify a larger chunk of memory for use in the XP Mode virtual machine. Previously it was a curiosity, but now it's actually very usable.READ FULL REVIEW
