When I purchased this is was $54 for 1tb!
Great Storage, and used mainly as a backup/secondary to my ssd.
If you plan on gaming, more specifically with BF4 expect long load times with this HDD, if BF4 is not on my SSD, It takes about 1~2minutes just to load the map. Could be just BF4 problem because all of my other games seem fine. But for the stingy here are some real world specs!

Pros: -Extremely Fast,
-Costs Less than I7 4770k and with little noted gaming performance (except for games that use hyper threading*)
-Great overclock for memory
-Game of chance how well yours will over clock. Can be lucky and get a (4.8 ghz chip)
-Best Intel Graphics Controller
-Fantastic Power Saving modes, make sure you pickup a Haswell compliant power supply to make use of this.
It will fetch email and social updates when asleep automatically once set up.
Cons: -Runs hot but that's Okay
-Can get a "dog" chip that will max at about 4.2 ghz before you hit your thermal cap with air/aio cooler
- Need to upgrade more parts to switch to it ie. Motherboard, Power supply, and even your memory in some cases.
Other Thoughts: Great bang for your buck.
Future-proof for awhile.
