This review is from: MSI Big Bang-XPower LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Runs two cards in SLI both at x16. OC'd my email@example.comGHz.
Cons: If you like using the S3 sleep state ony your rig, pass this one up. When on any kind of OC, resuming from sleep changes the voltage on the memory causing an error and forcing you to reset BIOS. Really MSI?!? BIOS v1.6 is the latest which was released almost a year ago?!? This is known issue and its being ignored by the MSI staff apparently.
Other Thoughts: Should have stuck with Gigabyte or Asus.READ FULL REVIEW
80 Plus Gold
Blue LED fan
JonnyGuru score: 9.7
Less expensive than others in it's category
Cons: No switch on LED fan to turn the LED's off.
Other Thoughts: I'm not too keen on the Lazer sticker located on the side or the Kingwin badge located at the center of the fan grill but these are not to detract from the unit's performance.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper N520 - CPU Cooler with Copper Base and 5 Heatpipes
Pros: Looks cool, keeps my i7-950 at 37C at idle
Cons: Loud! Sounds like my rig is going to take off! No PWM.
Other Thoughts: I ordered two Arctic Cooling PWM fans (Item#: N82E16835186034) to replace the two Cooler Master fans that come installed on the heatsink. Hopefully this will decrease the sound. I also own the Cooler Master Hyper 212 which is much quieter and cheaper.READ FULL REVIEW
