Pros: Performs well
Temps are good
Bargain price for what you get
Other Thoughts: Have been very impressed so far. Just upgraded from an Radeon HD 6970 that I've had for almost 4 years. Its a HUGE improvement over that. :) Am an avid MMORPG gamer and my 6970 was finally taxed too much by ArcheAge (which uses Cry Engine 3). Previous card would overheat, driver would reset, many graphics glitches in the game. Just played it with this new R9 280X and the game is very smooth, no issues and the card is actually quite cool (compared to my other card and other reviews). The card is idling at 32C and the max temp it got while I was playing was 64C. This was on ultra settings at 1900 x 1200 resolution. Very happy with this purchase.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: RAZER Lachesis Black 9 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 5600 dpi Mouse
Pros: Its pretty.
It works .... when it wants to.
Cons: So, I have been buying razor mice for a long time because I like their set up and the feel of their mice. However, I must be a sucker because I keep buying razer mice after one breaks. My prefered mouse before the Lachesis was the Razer DeathAdder. This mouse crapped out on me numerous times and I kept replacing it. So, a few weeks ago I decided enough was enough and to upgrade to a laser mouse.
I think I read like the first two reviews here and that was it... I feel like a dummy because if I had read a few more of the reviews, I would have seen the EXACT same problems I'm having now with this mouse. It just stops working... all the time. Must unplug it and plug it back in. I just had to switch back to my old DeathAdder mouse.
Other Thoughts: I also believe this mouse is causing me to have the first BSODs (blue screens of death) that I have experienced in over 3 years. I am a gamer and when I play Lord of the Rings Online, ever since I bought this mouse, my system has started throwing blue screens. The blue screen is very vague of course but all the research says its probably due to a hardware problem.
If you don't want to waste your money, please do not buy this mouse.
