Cons: Price still higher than need be
Not available in larger quantity
Drop-outs during recording still occur
Other Thoughts: While the price of Dual Layer DVDs is still too high, in my estimation, they're still essential in certain applications, so finding some at a reasonable price is particularly nice.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This works great, when it works (see cons). The unit requires minimal install savvy and receives signals pretty well (average or slightly above, compared to comparable devices) and the USB port feature makes physical connections a snap.
Cons: The downside to this unit is getting it to stay connected. After each reboot, I literally have to "uninstall" the device and have Windows reinstall it... after which it'll work for a few seconds before being dropped again. This sometimes happens five or six times in a row before a reliable connection "takes."
Other Thoughts: A major downside to ALL Linksys devices is their proprietary software 'feature,' that tries to take over your system and exclude the automatic Windos features. It's a pain and I wish there were a way to tell Linksys to STOP IT already!READ FULL REVIEW
