Pros: AC router really cheap.
Gigabyte LAN ports
Cons: Weak 2.4Gh band
CPU runs at 90C
Other Thoughts: I took the heat foil off CPU and replaced with small aluminum heat sink, fan with Arctic Silver and now the temp is 39C all the time.
I put 2 external 9dbi antennas on the router and now for $30 i have a great AC router. I use a second router modified the same as a range extender. I'm also using DD-WRT.
This review is from: ASRock A88M-G/3.1 FM2+ / FM2 A88X (Bolton D4) Micro ATX Motherboard
Pros: Works great wit the New X4 845 CPU and R7 260x. I'm also using GSkill 2133 memory with no problem.
I'm using the SPDIF out and 5.1 surround support. with no problems. AMD Crimson drivers install wihout problems.
Cons: The problem I ran into was when I tried to Crossfire 2 graphics cards. The drivers install and Crossfire was supported but the fan on the main card was completely blocked by the second graphics card. The 2 PCIe slots are too close together and this resulted in no airflow on main card.
If PCIE3 is occupied, M2_1 will be disabled.
No Display Port on motherboard. Need Display Port to enable Free Sync on supported APU.
Other Thoughts: I ordered this board to Crossfire so I have to return the board.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Works with older FM2+ CPU's
Cons: Gigabyte did not release a bios upgrade for this board. Will Not work with AMD's New Carrizo CPU
Other Thoughts: I just bought this motherboard in December 2015 and now I find out gigabyte will not update the bios to work with the Carrizo CPU (x4 845 and x4 835 CPU's).READ FULL REVIEW
