Pros: I've used these in the past, different brand but same principal.. These are smaller and deliver as promised. Never heard of Eteckcity before, but I trusted Newegg on this one. They're great for seniors and those with ambulatory problems getting to lights and other plug in appliances. They're rated at 10 amp, 1200 watts ... but I'd stay away from high drain continuous draw appliances just to be on the same side.
Cons: none, but watch the current draw of large appliances, like irons, curling irons, etc.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Collection LED A19 7W 40 Watt Replacement Light Bulb, Warm White
Pros: For the low input ... quantity and color of the light is fine ~ 40 watts eq.
Cons: I put the bulb "inverted" in a fixture. After some weeks of daily on and off usage, I found the 'head' of the unit dangling from the body. I 'super glued' it and it's working fine.
Other Thoughts: Fine for selected applications. I wouldn't worry about the separation issue for most apps. It could have been a manuf. opps. I like the style and light color .. would buy more if they have higher lumen outputs.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: GPI Ledplux 7 Watt A19 OMNI LED Light Bulb Cool White 5000K - UL Listed
Pros: Sufficient light for 40 W applications
Mellow light and uniform distribution
Cons: Used it in a fixture inverted. After weeks of operations ... the bulb part/ring began to separate from the base [plastic/plastic]. Super-glued it and it's fine.
Other Thoughts: They're getting better ... sufficient for lower light apps.READ FULL REVIEW
